Hollow Point Recordings is pleased to bring you “Bounce”, the new 3 song release from SPL & Geno Cochino.  Teamed up again for the first time in 5 years, these guys bring back the massive dark psychedelic vibe that they captured in their previous collaborations.  By combining elements of old school drum and bass, big room dubstep and today’s trapped out swagger, the title track “Bounce” delivers unsurmountable dance floor destruction and sub bass pressure.  Continuing on this journey, “Leanin and Dreamin” features elements of futuristic drum & bass juxtaposed against dirty 808 beats all within an epically gothic rave atmosphere.  Finally to close out this bass fueled journey is “Space Dust”, a nod to the old sound of SPL & Geno Cochino.  Funked out keys and live guitars merge on top of a neurofunk dubstep groove that sends you traveling deep into the far reaches of space.

Los Angeles based producer SPL and Portland based Triage and The Bassist are teaming up once again to re-release their highly revered ‘Pistol Pants’ track that was originally released in 2010 on SPL’s own Hollowpoint Recordings. This time, they’ve got seasoned bass music producer UFO! on board, who delivers a fiery, hooded-out remix of the original track. The three-track single also features a fresh new take of the original tune from SPL that embodies a perfect fusion of styles, as well as the original mix.
