As if 2010 hasn’t already seen enough of Hollow Point and their roster, topping charts; here comes another group of ragers from the twisted minds of one of the sickest labels. These next tunes don’t sit in one place, they range in the musical spectrum from forward thinking to familiar. The proof is in the pudding with DJ support coming from a diverse array artists such as Limewax, Excision and Bassnectar.

SPL brings in the unusually usual suspects with “Back At It” and “Low Girl”. He ushers listeners into devastating lowend wobbles that Dubstep fans will go crazy for without catering to the formulaic approach so often found in the sub-genre.

Up next is Portland Oregon’s very own D Poetica. New to the organization, D Poetica teamed up with SPL for what can only be considered a revolutionary take on the fine art of Instrumental Hip Hop with their sub killer “Give It Up”.

Finally, we would like to introduce Shakes, who is bringing a whole new sound to the table. His contribution to this release is a totally fresh approach to Hip Hop flavored Electronica. This is just a sneak preview of the ground breaking sound that Shakes is about to drop through Hollow Point in the coming year.

Hollow Point Recordings presents its first digital release including tunes by label owner SPL and musical collaborator Geno Cochino.  Union Jack has seen dancefloors all over the world in sets from some of Dubstep’s key players.  “In your face” lead lines and a stomping party overtone take this track over the edge until a melodic twist on the main theme takes this tune full circle on the second drop.

The flip to this storming release expresses more organic and instrumental themes.  This deep burner enchants the crowd and puts the listener into a frenzy of bass rhythm.  The complete package provides diversity and strength for the DJ and listener alike.
