Counselling is useful when:

  • Life is not okay and you want it to be
  • Life is okay, but you know there is MORE and you want to realise it.

Which of us has not had times when .....we feel challenged, out of touch with ourselves, in pain, depressed or unhappy. The immediate source of our difficulty may be known - relationship, work, financial, poor health - or it may be that we don't really understand the root of the problem. Whatever the situation, the bottom line is that we're finding it hard to see our way through.

Working with a counsellor is a way to get support and help to look at what is happening for us, to find out what needs to change and to act accordingly. The goal of the counsellor is to understand the reason for the neurotic behaviour. Once understood and explained, the behaviour will change and the trauma at the root of it will begin to heal. Counselling is extremely effective in an ongoing situation and many health professionals practice counselling themselves or reccomend it to their patients.
