Shiatsu (finger pressure) is a contemporary bodywork therapy which works on all the different energetic levels of our body; Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual. It evolved from thousands of years of oriental medical history and specifically from the traditional Japanese medical approach. It shares the same roots as accupuncture, moxibustion and Chinese herbalism. In the middle of this century Shiatsu became recognised by the Japanese Government as a therapy in its own right. Since then, like accupuncture, it has spread to the west where it is more and more successfully practised and recognised.

Shiatsu works on stimulating the body's vital energy flow (known as Qi). This brings about deep relaxation and allows the receiver to get in touch with his/her own self healing abilities and usually leaves a feeling of calmness and well-being in the receiver.

Anyone have solutions for hot flashes and night sweats? I am looking for oils and/or nutritionals to help with this very annoying problem. Any suggestions that have been successful will be greatly appreciated.

Many have said that Peppermint has helped them when they are having a hot flash. Just put a drop or two on the back of your neck. Do you have the Desk Reference? Also, check out We have supplements that give hormonal support as well.
